i attended a taping of 3 episodes of the speed network show "pinks." on each show, two participants compete in a best of 5 drag race, and the winner gets the loser's car. october 2005 at maryland international raceway, budds creek, md.

1990 honda crx hf. i bought this for $200 from a friend. after putting in a new clutch, i decided the rust and frame damage was too severe, and parted it out after only 500 miles. march 2005 to april 2005.

1992 geo metro lsi. everyone's favorite. this beauty was abandoned in the offutt dorm parking lot for five (5) years. i quick phone call to the dmv in the iowa county where it was previously registered, 3 weeks of waiting, $15, and i had a title in my hand. i crossed two wires to bypass a blown fuse, tightened down a start connection, and it fired right up. 2200 miles, 5 cans of gold spray paint, and a lot of laughs later, it had 1 too many electrical issues and i junked it. july 2004 to january 2005.
